St. Mary’s Basilica (Krakow)

Well, this is not New Zealand, but Poland. I went on a very spontaneous trip to Wroc?aw and Kraków last week. There we visited the St. Mary’s Basilica. If you want to take photos in the basilica, you have to buy an aditional photo-ticket. But even with the photo-ticket you are not allowed to use a tripod 🙁 I tried some shots using a wallet as tripod-replacement, but this one is done without tripod: I put the camera on the ground to shot the ceiling. This is an HDR Image, combined of three single shot. To keep the single images aligned, I used the remote control of my camera to pull the trigger. (The photo is best viewed on black.)

  1. Diesbezüglich habe ich gar nichts verändert. Vielleicht wirkt es optisch so angenehm, weil die Kamera genau in der Mitte der Kirche lag.
